It's a highly impactful and dynamic team that focuses on business strategy, financial plans including budgets and our long-term strategic plan, KPI development and management, materials for our Board of Directors, fundraising and corporate development activities. Relativity is looking for a Business Operations Analyst to join the Finance & Strategy team. You will report directly to the Manager of Business Operations and will have high visibility across the organization while partnering closely with Senior Leadership. You will work with a team of ambitious, smart, and driven people while managing a wide range of responsibilities that directly support the success and health of the business.</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span data-contrast="none">About the Role:</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with multi-discipline manufacturing, engineering, construction, facility, and operations team members to process, document, and track invoices, update project budgets and maintain forecasts.</li> <li>Operate efficiently and effectively to support Relativity's Manufacturing strategy, including developing and managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, while partnering with engineering, program management, infrastructure, and operations.</li> <li>Manage project performance by reviewing labor and materials actuals, supporting analysis of actuals vs. plan, schedule status, cost/schedule integration and performance, corrective action plans, performance recovery plans, and baseline planning.</li> <li>Serve as the strategic finance business partner to Engineering, Project Managers, and leadership by translating business requirements into financial implications, evaluating trade-offs, and guiding resource allocation decisions.</li> <li>Serve as a trusted business partner to the rest of the organization by driving key trade decisions, assessing the financial and operating impact of our decisions, and strategically driving the best outcome for the business.</li> <li>Analyze complex production issues and support engineering in deriving smart and scrappy solutions to keep to production schedule, cost, and quality goals.</li> <li>Support strategic initiatives including business case development, capital investment analysis, make vs. buy evaluations, and ad-hoc financial modeling to inform critical business decisions.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span data-contrast="none">About You:</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other related discipline and 3-5 years of experience of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience, preferably in aerospace, technology, manufacturing, construction, or other capital-intensive industries.</li> <li>Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills with demonstrated ability to build complex models, perform variance analysis, and translate financial data into strategic insights. </li> <li>Outstanding ability to synthesize information from large and complex data sets, identify trends and anomalies, and distill findings into clear, actionable recommendations.</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - including the ability to translate complex and ambiguous engineering and production requirements into clear and actionable financial decisions.</li> <li>Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities that can thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities. </li> <li>Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial planning tools (Planful, Hyperion, or similar), familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) a plus.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span data-contrast="none">Nice to haves but not required: </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></span></p> <ul> <li>Experience with manufacturing systems within the aerospace industry</li> <li>Familiar with aerospace planning, procedures and operations, and safety</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-size: 14px;">At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
