We work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, test and launch counterparts to ensure the quality of our products. We help lay the foundation for all processes within the product lifecycle – design, buy, build, test and launch. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing Quality organization and help lead the front on producing the industry’s highest quality 3D-printed parts and launch vehicle. This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00PM-1:30AM PT, Monday through Friday, with a 10% differential on top of the base rate. Please note that this position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals. About the Role: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Conduct thorough inspections of machined components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and drawing requirements. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, thread gages, pin gages and other hand tools to assess conformity to drawing requirements. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Document inspection results, identify non-conformities, and write nonconformance reports. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Perform visual inspection to ensure components are free of burrs, damages, scratches or FOD. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain cleanliness/organization of the quality lab and the metrology tools</li> </ul> About You: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical inspection or quality control within a manufacturing or engineering environment. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications with intermediate understanding of Y14.5 standards and GD&T. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient with inspection tools and measurement techniques. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient understanding of helicoils, keenserts, AS5202 port threads, and surface finishes </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Available Shifts (First Shift 5:00 am-3:30 pm and Second Shift from 3:00 pm-1:30 am Pacific Time)</li> </ul> Nice to haves but not required:   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Machining experience or understanding of machining concepts that allows the inspector to accurately deduce root cause and corrective action of a nonconformance </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with operating/programming Romer/Faro Arm or CMM (Verisurf preferred). </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with quality management systems and standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001). </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP). </li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section">Benefits:</div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">100% health care coverage on your first day</li> <li style="font-fam
