Join us.</div>About the Team:  The engine manufacturing department's mission is to product high performing products & manufacturing systems by continuously innovating on cost, quality, and lead time. Through cross-functional collaboration, high levels of accountability, and a focus on safety we support the Terran R program. We are responsible for providing design feedback on new hardware iterations, developing new manufacturing methods and systems, and ultimately building engine and vehicle hardware for testing prior to our first launch. Our team's highlights from the last 6 months include the MDC of the first Aeon-R engine, completing thousands of hours of PBF printing, building and testing over 50 valves of 26 different iterations, and implementing large scale process improvements along the way. About the Role: As a Senior Propulsion Technician, you will be on the front line of fabrication and assembly of the Aeon-R engine, as well as scaling manufacturing operations. This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced team and build the skills necessary to create robust and highly tuned engine systems. You will be hands-on with hardware from day 1, so strong attention to detail and drive to grow your skills are necessary traits for the role. You will interpret work instructions and engineering drawings to complete the necessary tasks, while providing valuable feedback to the team on necessary improvements. This role will be involved in several in-house processes and support resources such as precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, flow testing, and engine assembly. In order to be successful in this role, you must be someone who thrives in ambiguity and is able to efficiently complete the task at hand. You must have the passion, tenacity, and resolve to work through challenging issues unique to rocket engines.  You are someone who has come from a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the space industry, and have worked hands-on while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary groups.  More specifically, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills, desire for growth, experience working with high pressure systems, and willingness to learn from and collaborate with engineering and technician staff. About You: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience working on engines, with a primary focus on engine components.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with architecture of a Gas Generator cycle engine and all associated nomenclature.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with high pressure fluid system development and testing such as hydrostatic proof, pneumatic leak check, and flow testing.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to read and interpret work instructions, and engineering drawings.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong technical and interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> Nice to haves but not required:   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with 5S manufacturing principles.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience transitioning from development into high-volume production.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
