Join us.</div>About the Team: The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops, creates, and operates the most advanced additive manufacturing technologies in the world. This best-in-class team makes sure that the infrastructure, materials, tools, and equipment are in place for us to rapidly iterate and print. The Powder-Based manufacturing team was crucial to manufacturing Aeon-1 for first launch and now are developing and demonstrating groundbreaking technologies, design, and approaches for Aeon-R. About the Role: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead and mentor a team of engineers who own a fleet of machines, process improvements, and delivery of propulsion-critical AM hardware</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support the installation, commissioning, and operation of additive post processing manufacturing equipment</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklists, and safety protocols for additive manufacturing, including post processing equipment</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Be responsible for establishing of process flow to meet production rate and quality goals</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Communicate roadblocks to team leaders, direct reports, and technicians promptly to appropriately react, contain, and recover</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Track machine utilization and drive reductions in planned and unplanned downtime</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform manufacturing ROI and cost trade analysis optimizing machine capital and process improvements</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and implement tooling and statistical process control into production processes to further improve reliability and reduce cost and lead time</li> </ul> About You: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">BS Degree in Engineering (or relevant technical discipline)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5+ years of experience with Powder Bed Fusion/Additive Manufacturing engineering experience with 1+ years of technical leadership or project ownership experience.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated experience working with powder bed fusion (LPBF) in a production environment</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience owning or mentoring engineers</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong track record of delivering results across ambiguous and high-scope technical areas</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Excellent communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Comfortable navigating between shop floor execution and cross-functional strategic planning</li> </ul> Nice to haves, but not required:   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with MES/QMS systems and process flow management</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience defining or scaling additive workflows from R&D to production</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Applied experience with root cause investigations and corrective action systems</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Background working in ISO, AS9100, or other high-reliability environments</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
