This role will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Revenue, Procurement) and technical teams, ensuring our financial systems are efficient, scalable, and compliant, particularly across critical processes like Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).The ideal candidate should have a deep expertise in enterprise financial processes and systems, experience with a complex ecosystem of financial applications, like Netsuite, Oracle Fusion, Zip, Pigment, Zuora etc. and excellent collaboration skills.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is an individual<strong> contributor (IC)</strong> role reporting to the <strong>Senior Director, Business Systems</strong>, and will partner closely with a team of analysts, engineers, and delivery leads embedded within Finance and IT.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is a <strong>remote US role</strong>, with a preference for candidates based in <strong>Pacific or Central time zones</strong> to align with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Key Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>System Ownership &amp; Strategy:</strong> Define and execute the Finance technology vision and roadmap across Accounting, FP&amp;A, Tax, Treasury, Payments, and T&amp;E. Partner with Finance leadership to optimize workflows, improve automation, and strengthen operational controls across OTC, P2P, R2R. Serve as the subject matter expert for NetSuite ERP, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting across modules like OM, Billing, Revenue, GL, AR, AP, Inventory and COGS.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Business Analysis &amp; Requirements:</strong> Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements, user stories, and process flows from Finance, Accounting, and other cross-functional stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Process Optimization:</strong> Drive AI driven automation opportunities to enhance reconciliations, forecasting, anomaly detection, close acceleration, and exception handling, drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives across key financial workflows:&nbsp;</span></li> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Quote-to-Cash (QTC):</strong> Support and optimize processes from quoting/contract management through billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition (NetSuite ARM or Zuora Revenue).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Procure-to-Pay (P2P):</strong> Optimize procurement, vendor management, expense reporting (Zip and Netsuite integration support), and accounts payable processes.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Record-to-Report (R2R):</strong> Support month-end/quarter-end close activities, general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance activities.</span></li> </ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Delivery &amp; Execution:</strong> Collaborate with other Business Systems Analysts, Product Managers, Developers to manage the product backlog, configure system changes, and support testing (SIT, UAT) and successful deployment of enhancements and new features.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Compliance &amp; Controls:</strong> Ensure strict adherence to IT SOX compliance, audit requirements, access controls, and change management processes. Gather and maintain audit evidence.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Support &amp; Monitoring:</strong> Manage intake, triage, and resolution of production issues within defined SLAs. Configure saved searches, reports, and dashboards to improve system visibility and performance. Support Month-end and quarter-end close processes</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Integration Support:</strong> Oversee and troubleshoot data integrity and system integrations between NetSuite and ancillary systems (e.g. CPQ, Commerce platforms, ZIP, Data Lake etc.).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Mentorship</strong>:Lead and mentor junior business systems analysts to deliver measurable outcomes and operational excellence.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Vendor Management:</strong> Manage relationships with third-party system vendors and implementation partners, including SLA tracking, escalations, and roadmap alignment.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Governance and Documentation: Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, Legal, Security and Data teams to ensure cohesive governance, architecture, audit readiness, delivery and scalability.</strong></span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Experience:</strong> 10+ years of experience as a Finance Business Systems Analyst or NetSuite ERP product ownership roles, with proven expertise in supporting Finance and Accounting functions, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep hands experience with<strong> Netsuite ERP and strong understanding of modules</strong> like OM, billing, supply chain, revenue recognition, intercompany processes, FX, and financial reporting.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to create/modify fields, Saved Searches, reports, Pdf forms and help close processes.Ability to evaluate technical feasibility of configurations and work fluently with developers on complex solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Track record of successfully delivering large-scale financial system implementations, integrations, or automation initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep understanding of ASC 606 compliance, revenue contract arrangements, performance obligations, and automation workflows.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with systems supporting the QTC (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, Hubspot, Dealhub), P2P (e.g., ZIP), and T&amp;E (e.g. Airbase, Travel Perk ) lifecycles is a strong plus.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Domain Knowledge:</strong> Strong understanding of core Finance/Accounting principles and end-to-end financial processes (QTC, P2P, R2R, revenue recognition, SOX compliance).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Analytical Skills:</strong> Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and solutions.
