With a charge to uplevel Figma’s use of data, the team works alongside other Data Scientists and Engineering to identify ways to implement and democratize new statistical methods, build data frameworks, and incorporate data within Figma’s product development process. The team contributes to the company’s goals by collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and our finance team to uncover new opportunities, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements through data-driven insights. <br><br>This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.</p> <h4>What you’ll do at Figma:</h4> <ul> <li>Lead, support, and grow a team of data scientists and data science managers with varied strengths and expertise focused on product strategy, internal tooling, and Impact measurement</li> <li>Champion data quality, accessibility, and the democratization of data across the company</li> <li>Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization</li> <li>Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Sales, Marketing, or Finance to drive impact</li> </ul> <div class="section page-centered"> <h4>We'd love to hear from you if you have:</h4> <ul> <li data-section-id="j1eynn" data-start="0" data-end="132">5+ years of experience managing and leading high-output data science teams, including scaling teams in high-growth environments</li> <li data-section-id="1ndw161" data-start="133" data-end="270">7+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, with experience working on AI tools or collaborative software</li> <li data-section-id="gc60cw" data-start="271" data-end="353">Strong foundation in statistical methods, experimentation, and/or forecasting</li> <li data-section-id="1px3csb" data-start="354" data-end="448">Technical curiosity with a willingness to continuously learn and grow alongside your team</li> <li data-section-id="aeatxo" data-start="449" data-end="515" data-is-last-node="">A demonstrated desire to build an inclusive and diverse culture</li> </ul> <h4>While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:</h4> <ul> <li>Experience owning 0 to 1 product areas</li> <li>Growing junior data science leaders</li> </ul> <div class="section page-centered"> <div> <div>At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
