Director, Head of Global Benefits

<p>We’re seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Global Benefits to lead the design, implementation, and scaling of our benefits programs across 20+ countries and growing. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Define and lead the global benefits strategy across all regions, ensuring alignment with company growth and talent priorities</p> </li> <li> <p>Design, implement, and scale benefits programs (health, wellness, retirement, time off, and perks) that are locally relevant and globally consistent</p> </li> <li> <p>Oversee global benefits operations, including vendor selection, broker management, renewals, and program administration</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, tax requirements, and reporting obligations across all markets</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with Finance and People teams to manage benefits budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization</p> </li> <li> <p>Evaluate and benchmark programs to ensure competitiveness in each market while maintaining internal equity</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead leave programs internationally, ensuring seamless employee experiences across regions</p> </li> <li> <p>Leverage data and employee insights to continuously improve program effectiveness and utilization</p> </li> <li> <p>Communicate benefits offerings clearly and effectively to employees and leaders worldwide</p> </li> <li> <p>Build and lead a high-performing global benefits team and manage external partners</p> </li> </ul> <h3>&nbsp;</h3> <h3><strong><strong>Who You Are</strong></strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>10–15+ years of experience in global benefits, including leadership of multi-country programs</p> </li> <li> <p>Deep knowledge of international benefits design, compliance, and regional nuances (EMEA, APAC, AMER)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience scaling benefits in high-growth, global organizations</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong vendor and broker management experience across multiple geographies</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven ability to balance global consistency with local market needs</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong analytical and financial acumen, including budgeting and cost management</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in the technology sector or a fast-growing, distributed workforce</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with global benefits platforms and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience supporting M&amp;A, new country expansions, or entity setup</p> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Datadog values people from all walks of life.
