<h2>About the Role</h2> We’re hiring a Design Manager to lead Lending at Chime — including Instant Loans and MyPay — and push the boundaries of what financial experiences can be. You’ll own a high-impact product area, leading a team to deliver best-in-class design while partnering closely with Product and Engineering to shape strategy and outcomes. This is a space where the details matter: clarity, trust, and usability aren’t nice-to-haves — they’re essential to helping members make real financial progress. This role is also an opportunity to explore what’s next. You’ll help define how AI can be thoughtfully integrated into lending experiences, making them more responsive, personalized, and intuitive without sacrificing transparency. Along the way, you’ll raise the bar on craft, mentor and grow designers, and build systems that scale — all while delivering experiences used by millions of members every day. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $202,000 and up to $280,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
