This order of magnitude increase in speed is transforming the user experience of AI applications, unlocking real-time iteration and increasing intelligence via additional agentic computation.</p></div><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>The Sourcing Director – Critical Components is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies to secure high-quality, cost-effective critical components and materials. This role ensures supply chain continuity, minimizes risk, and drives innovation by leveraging market analysis, supplier relationship management, and advanced negotiation tactics. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals, optimize procurement processes, and enhance supplier relationships.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Strategic Sourcing:</strong> Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for critical components, aligning with long-term business objectives and ensuring competitive advantage.</li> <li><strong>Supplier Management:</strong> Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conduct regular performance reviews, and manage contracts to ensure terms are met and risks are mitigated.</li> <li><strong>Cost Optimization:</strong> Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and process efficiency through market analysis and innovative sourcing solutions.</li> <li><strong>Risk Management:</strong> Monitor supply chain risks, diversify supplier base, and implement contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical components.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with finance, operations, legal, and engineering teams to harmonize procurement activities with overall corporate strategy.</li> <li><strong>Commodity &amp; Component Expertise:</strong> Oversee commodity management, finished goods, and component sourcing, with a focus on critical and high-impact materials.</li> <li><strong>Process Standardization:</strong> Provide guidance on standardized RFP/bid and contract processes, ensuring compliance and best practices across the organization.</li> <li><strong>Performance Metrics:</strong> Track and report on key performance indicators related to cost savings, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 10+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years at a senior level in a multinational environment.</li> <li><strong>Industry Knowledge:</strong> Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, import sourcing practices, and global supply chain dynamics.</li> <li><strong>Skills:</strong> Strong negotiation, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
