This is a high-impact role that demands significant <strong>autonomy and ownership</strong>, driving the technical design and delivery of mission-critical systems.</p> <p>You will be responsible for our core provisioning pipeline. Additionally, you will <strong>apply your expertise and technical knowledge</strong> to support the development of our strategic <strong>Self-Managed Platform Solution</strong> for highly regulated environments. If you thrive on complexity, enjoy taking architectural contributions from design to production, and want to own systems that directly enable multi-million dollar market expansion, this is your next role.</p> <h3><strong>The Team: Provisioning &amp; Licensing</strong></h3> <p>You will be part of the <strong>Provisioning &amp; Licensing team</strong>, the vital "glue team" between our business functions and the core platform.</p> <ul> <li>The team owns the <strong>latency-sensitive internal APIs</strong> for automatically creating new tenants based on customer data, as well as our internal Feature &amp; Configuration system (<strong>like a car configurator, just for microservices!</strong>).</li> <li>Your team is a central internal unit with many touchpoints across other engineering teams and business teams like Licensing Management.</li> <li>When it comes to prioritization, we value your input and expect you to contribute actively to the prioritization discussions in our dynamic environment.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>The Tech Stack</strong></h3> <p>Our stack is modern, cloud-native, and focused on portability to support our strategic on-premise deployments.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Core Technologies:</strong> <strong>Java 25</strong>, <strong>Spring Boot</strong>, Postgres as the main datastore.</li> <li><strong>Containerization:</strong> We are all in on containerization and orchestration, running our applications on <strong>Kubernetes (K8s)</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Architecture:</strong> We develop within a new &amp; modern <strong>modular monolithic application</strong> with strongly enforced boundaries between the modules.</li> <li><strong>DevOps:</strong> Writing deployment files with the help of Kustomize and deploying our applications with Github CI and Kargo. We use <strong>Datadog</strong> for metrics, logs, and as our APM tool.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>The Work You’ll Do</strong></h3> <p>This role requires you to operate with a high degree of independence, owning complex technical problem spaces, and applying your expertise to strategic initiatives.</p> <ul> <li><strong>End-to-End Problem Ownership:</strong> <strong>Independently</strong> take ownership of significant portions of the development process from <strong>architecture</strong> to delivery. <strong>You build it, you own it!</strong> (We mean it.)</li> <li><strong>Self-Managed Solution Contribution:</strong> <strong>Contribute to the implementation</strong> of the <strong>Self-Managed Platform Solution</strong>. You will support the team by implementing components, tooling, and integration patterns, leveraging your knowledge of <strong>Kubernetes, IaC, and On-Premise environments</strong> to help package and operationalize our core platform.</li> <li><strong>Technical Strategy:</strong> Have a <strong>strong say in the technical vision and strategy</strong> for your team, balancing trade-off decisions between the cloud and self-managed deployment models (hello, complexity!).</li> <li><strong>Reliability &amp; Scalability:</strong> Continuously focus on the scalability and reliability of our services, upholding the defined latency SLAs.</li> <li><strong>Collaboration &amp; Documentation:</strong> Collaborate with other Engineering teams (i.e., Identity, Platform) to deliver broad-impact technical projects.
