By working hand-in-hand with elite teams in Perception, AI, Motion Planning, Hardware, Networking, and Design, we craft cutting-edge, end-to-end systems that redefine mission success.<br><br>We are seeking Software Engineering Interns for <strong>Summer 2026 </strong>in Irvine, CA! You’ll work in one of two focus areas based on your strengths and interests: (1) Full-Stack / UI to build the interfaces operators use to control autonomous systems, (2) Perception / Robotics to build the systems that interpret the world: tracking objects, modeling environments, and powering autonomy.</p> <h4>EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Build<strong> semantic world models</strong> that fuse sensor data into a persistent 3D scene in real-time</li> <li>Build <strong>terrain rendering systems</strong> used in live operations (viewsheds, classifications)</li> <li>Create <strong>interactive 3D UI panels</strong> to visualize friendly and hostile assets</li> </ul> <p>Interns routinely ship features to deployed systems within their first few weeks.</p> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build projects from <strong>0 → 1</strong></li> <li>Proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as Rust, C/C++, Go, or Typescript.</li> <li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.</li> </ul> <h4>ABOVE-AND-BEYOND QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Have a bias for action.
