These products often involve complex mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems, requiring a deep understanding of hardware-software interaction. You will develop test executive software that can systematically and thoroughly test our products, interacting directly with physical test fixtures, sensors, and actuators, and create analytics to improve our development cycle. You will champion automation, and work to reduce operator time and instruction complexity through the use of parallel execution, data acquisition, and automated deployment tools, always considering the physical constraints and operational needs of the manufacturing line. You will be presented complex, multi-platform problems with heavy reliance on cloud data systems. In this role, you’ll need to think creatively and continuously improve our methods of automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics, with a keen eye on optimizing the physical testing process and equipment interaction.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop applications for Windows and Linux desktop environments that interface with and control physical test equipment, industrial automation, and data acquisition systems.</li> <li>Integrate cloud data and deployment features while maintaining user authentication and security.</li> <li>Generate automation scripts (python) for debug and prototype development, especially for interacting with hardware, simulating physical conditions, and capturing sensor data.</li> <li>Triage issues, root cause failures (including those related to hardware-software integration), and coordinate next-steps.</li> <li>Partner with end-users and manufacturing engineers to turn needs into features while balancing user experience with physical engineering constraints and test system capabilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years of relevant industry experience.</li> <li>Expertise in desktop application development with WPF and C#.</li> <li>Proficient in Python, ASP.NET, RESTful services with C# in AWS/Azure infrastructure.</li> <li>Hands-on working knowledge of a major relational database (DB2, SQL Server etc.) and/or NoSql.</li> <li>Experience working in CI/CD and designing and delivering DevOps automation for app deployment and testing.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>Proven experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary projects, integrating software with complex Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing systems.</li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of relevant industry experience.</li> <li>Pursuing a Master’s of Computer Science or Mechatronics.</li> <li>Experience with test automation or cloud deployment tools.</li> <li>Familiarity with industrial automation hardware (e.g., PLCs, motor controllers, sensors, vision systems, robotics).</li> <li>Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing or developing software for embedded systems integration.</li> <li>Understanding of mechanical design principles and how they influence test fixture development and product testing.</li> <li>Proficiency with data acquisition systems (e.g., National Instruments LabVIEW/TestStand, Keysight VEE) and analysis of physical measurements.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$19,100</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$253,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
