Working across Product, Engineering, Growth, Business Development, Technical Operations, and Mission Operations, Deployments oversees forward logistics, site installation, maintenance & repairs, field inventory management, sustainment and reverse logistics. The team is central to ensuring effective customer and mission success, shaping the future of Anduril’s defense solutions.</p> <h3>ABOUT THE ROLE</h3> <p>We are seeking a<strong> </strong>Senior Manager, Global Trade Operations. In this role, you will lead and support Anduril’s global import and customs brokerage strategy to ensure compliant, cost-effective, and scalable operations across U.S., EMEA, APAC, and other global regions. This role is critical to supporting Anduril’s defense manufacturing supply chain, ensuring compliance with U.S. and foreign customs regimes, and enabling the smooth movement of mission-critical hardware, technology, and components.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <p>Customs Compliance & Brokerage Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary liaison with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and global customs authorities.</li> <li>Oversee all import brokerage operations, including HTS classification, customs entry, valuation, country of origin, and admissibility reviews.</li> <li>Manage Power of Attorney (POA) relationships with customs brokers, ensuring governance and standardized SOPs across regions.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with defense-specific import and export regulations, including ITAR, EAR, DFARS, CTPAT, and other U.S. and allied-nation security trade controls.</li> </ul> <p>Global Trade Strategy & Governance</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain Anduril’s global import governance program, including policies, audit protocols, and internal training.</li> <li>Lead and support trade lane risk assessments, duty mitigation strategies (FTA utilization, duty drawback, tariff engineering, etc.).</li> <li>Monitor regulatory changes (e.g., Section 301/232 tariffs, USMCA, UK-EU trade rules) and advise leadership on business impact.</li> </ul> <p>Vendor & Network Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage global customs brokerage vendors and assess their performance, SLAs, and compliance.</li> <li>Build a standardized vendor engagement model for imports across all operating regions.</li> </ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Program teams to align import compliance with operational goals.</li> <li>Provide expert trade compliance guidance during sourcing decisions and supplier onboarding.</li> <li>Support major defense programs requiring temporary imports (ATA Carnet, testing, exhibitions, defense tenders).</li> <li>Report import KPIs, trade risks, and savings initiatives to senior leadership</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (master’s preferred).</li> <li>8–12+ years in global trade compliance, import operations, or customs brokerage management.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of U.S. and global customs regimes.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, DDP, EXW, CIF, CPT, etc.), tariff mitigation strategies, and bonded warehouse/FTZ programs.</li> <li>Proven experience managing global brokerage networks and 3PL/4PL partnerships.</li> <li>Excellent leadership, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy, while ensuring regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, and all levels of management.</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 20%.</li> </ul> <h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Licensed U.S. Customs Broker strongly preferred.</li> <li>Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-technology manufacturing environments is a plus.</li> <li>Experience in manufacturing supply chains is a plus,</li> <li>Six Sigma certification or Lean training preferred.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$166,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$220,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
