Come join us as we disrupt an entire industry and help take your career&nbsp;to the next level with a team that is charging towards changing the world of&nbsp;defense.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Manage the entire payroll reconciliation process and accurately record all&nbsp;payroll and fringe related accruals at period end.</li> <li>Monitor the HRIS platform to ensure proper Chart of Accounts and&nbsp;department mapping alignment.</li> <li>Collaborate with HR to track high volumes of contingent employee bonuses&nbsp;and calculate monthly amortization.</li> <li>Accrue for and reconcile Travel and Expense (T&amp;E) transactions across&nbsp;multiple entities.</li> <li>Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures related to&nbsp;the payroll accounting process.</li> <li>Prepare footnotes, disclosures, and supporting schedules to support&nbsp;financial reporting.</li> <li>Prepare financial reconciliations timely and be able to research and&nbsp;resolve variances as needed.</li> <li>Prepare analytical reviews of employee compensation and T&amp;E expenses to&nbsp;provide color and commentary to monthly, quarterly, and annual&nbsp;financials.</li> <li>Help implement new systems or improve efficiencies with current systems&nbsp;to support continued company and team growth.</li> <li>Contribute to the control environment by establishing, improving, and&nbsp;maintaining operational processes.</li> <li>No job too small mentality, be curious and helpful to others.</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.</li> <li>3+ years of progressive accounting experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience payroll reconciliations, payroll accruals, and&nbsp;travel and expense tracking (experience with Ramp and Rippling&nbsp;preferred).</li> <li>Highly detail oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US&nbsp;GAAP.</li> <li>CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA preferred.</li> <li>Prior experience in companies that are tech or advanced manufacturing&nbsp;preferred.</li> <li>Healthy mix of technical accounting and operational accounting preferred.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high growth&nbsp;organization.</li> <li>Able to get hands dirty to drive organizational change while also&nbsp;maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities/reporting.</li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$98,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$130,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
