As Lattice adoption grows — spanning multiple business lines, allied partnerships, and fielded systems — this role ensures the platform delivers a cohesive, reliable experience at every integration point.<br><br>This is a high-visibility role. You will partner with engineering leadership to define and execute platform strategy, and regularly engage with senior executives to communicate progress, surface tradeoffs, and align investment priorities.<br><br>You should have experience in systems/software development, and the ability to learn technical concepts quickly. You will need to be comfortable working with engineers and digging into the details to understand system dependencies, technical risks and the impact of key architectural decisions. You should be excellent at execution and comfortable navigating ambiguity.<br><br><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Drive platform initiatives.</strong> Lead scoping and execution of Lattice platform investments spanning infrastructure, integration, and cross-program alignment. Define technical roadmaps that balance immediate delivery needs with long-term platform health.</li> <li><strong>Coordinate across teams and partners.</strong> Build relationships with teams across all business lines and external partners. Gather requirements, understand constraints, and align diverse stakeholders around shared technical direction.</li> <li><strong>Decompose and execute.</strong> Break down ambiguous, cross-cutting problems into concrete technical plans. Work hands-on to scope features, plan sprints, identify dependencies, and drive execution to completion.</li> <li><strong>Own technical strategy.</strong> In partnership with engineering leaders, develop technical pathways for complex platform initiatives. Ensure the team makes architectural decisions that balance performance, scalability, cost, and developer experience.</li> <li><strong>Communicate to senior leadership.</strong> Translate technical details for executive audiences and business context for engineering teams. Set clear expectations, escalate tradeoffs decisively, and produce documentation that enables alignment at all levels.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years in product management, software development, or managing complex technical systems</li> <li>Robust technical aptitude — able to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, architectural tradeoffs, and risks; effective working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering teams.</li> <li>Strong project management skills for software development; practical familiarity with a variety of methodologies and ability to apply the right approach to the situation.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decisions.</li> <li>Proven ability to communicate clearly and influence at the executive level.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Background in platform, infrastructure, or systems integration work</li> <li>Familiarity with release management and software build systems</li> <li>Familiarity with defense and aerospace systems, autonomy, or robotics</li> <li>Experience managing cross-team or cross-organization technical migrations</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> <li>Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and direction</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$254,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$336,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
