The team specializes in integrating enterprise networking capabilities from global IT leaders with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed to meet market demands for the most stringent of environmental requirements.</span> We are seeking a Manufacturing, <strong>Quality & Test Technician/Engineer </strong>to join our Quality & Test team in Dublin. This role is ideal for an experienced Test Technician/ Engineer who can support external manufacturing sites during day to day Production. This role will be remote based with up to 3 to 4 days a week based at an external manufacturing site.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare test and diagnostic programs, develop test procedures, test fixtures and</li> <li>Understanding of automated test systems and test software.</li> <li>Lead the commissioning, development, integration and release of test stations to full production.</li> <li>Define, outline and perform the training and sustaining activity required to successfully deploy test stations in full production.</li> <li>Create and maintain accurate and up to date documentation for test requirements, plans, procedures and results, including ECO activity.</li> <li>Support contract electronics manufacturer (CEM) partner in the overall continuous improvement of product as they move through the life cycle phases.</li> <li>Attend in all relevant meetings including NPI New Product Introduction, Quality, Yield meetings and analyse new production trends.</li> <li>Continually define and propose strategies for test reduction, cost reduction and improve time to market.</li> <li>Support the manufacturing process as needed by performing root cause analysis, error proofing and corrective action procedures.</li> <li>Build test equipment and execute test procedures to inform and validate design decisions.</li> <li>Travel to test sites and remote labs as needed.</li> <li>Be willing to travel as needed for project assignments and maintain flexibility, holding a valid driver's license.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Third level qualification in computing, engineering, or science subject area.</li> <li>5 years’ experience in testing complex products in production environments.</li> <li>Ability to read wiring diagrams and circuit schematics.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (SPC, Six Sigma).</li> <li>Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills.</li> <li>Ability to work under tight schedules.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Understanding of automated test scripts (LabVIEW, VB, Python).</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
