We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.</p> <h3><strong>ABOUT THE JOB</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking a visionary <strong>Lead Customer Trainer</strong> to develop, lead, and scale our customer-facing instructional cadre. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive training team strategy that ensures our diverse customer base – including military, government agencies, and commercial clients - achieves operational excellence and maximizes the value of Anduril’s advanced hardware and software offerings.<br><br>You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing technical trainers enabling agile, scalable instruction both in the Washington DC Metro Area as well as CONUS and OCONUS locations. This role requires deep experience training technical subjects, preferably to US Government entities, as well as engineering expertise. You will also serve as a key bridge between instructional designers, product and engineering, and the instructors, focusing on constant improvement of training content and delivery to drive customer adoption.<br><br>If you are passionate about transforming national security capabilities through cutting-edge technology and empowering end-users with the knowledge and skills to succeed in high-stakes environments, we encourage you to apply!</p> <h3><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></h3> <p><strong>Strategic Leadership &amp; Team Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and grow technical training teams for customers supporting Anduril’s product roadmap, business objectives, and customer success goals.</li> <li>Establish clear performance metrics, development pathways, and operational standards for the customer training teams.</li> <li>Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement within the training teams, establishing feedback mechanisms and metrics to funnel student suggestions into the product stream.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Program Development &amp; Delivery Oversight:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate on the design and development of engaging learner-centered technical training programs for a wide range of Anduril products and systems.</li> <li>Ensure training collateral and instruction remain current, accurate, and aligned with new features and functionalities across all product lines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration &amp; Customer Advocacy:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as a key strategic partner to Product Management, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Business Development teams to capture product updates, inform training needs, and champion the voice of the customer.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their operational contexts, identifying pain points, and influencing product and training roadmaps.</li> <li>Drive the translation of complex technical concepts into accessible and effective learning experiences for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Operational Excellence &amp; Compliance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Establish and optimize standardized processes, tools, and techniques for training deliveries across all customer training teams.</li> <li>Implement robust audit-ready processes for training team documentation, compliance reporting, and data collection.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in with the US military or Intelligence Community (IC) enabling an understanding of their unique operational training requirements.</li> <li>Experience in a high-tech customer-facing technical training role within the defense, aerospace, or high-tech industry, with a significant portion (5+ years) in a leadership or management capacity.</li> <li>Proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing technical training teams, preferably in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.</li> <li>Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to define and implement a comprehensive vision for various types of training team models.</li> <li>Ability to rapidly grasp complex hardware and software systems and translate highly technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging learning content for diverse audiences.</li> <li>Strong ownership mentality, with a bias for action and a commitment to achieving impactful results.</li> <li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to customer locations, including potential hazard zones and test sites.</li> <li>Currently possesses and is able to maintain at least an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong>:</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.</li> <li>Prior military or government agency experience.</li> <li>Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FAA or DCMA, and experience in audit readiness for training programs.</li> <li>Experience with simulation tools, AR/VR, or other immersive learning technologies.</li> <li>Advanced skills in data analytics and reporting to demonstrate training impact and ROI.</li> <li>Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$146,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$194,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
