You will play a critical role in our continued rapid growth, bringing a strategic and hands-on approach to building our design organization. You will collaborate closely with Design Leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver on ambitious hiring needs. To achieve this, you will be given the autonomy and tools to execute on our strategy to build and develop Anduril's world-class team. We are looking for someone who can handle every aspect of the design recruiting lifecycle and is excited to be part of a small, impactful team where no task is too big or too small.<br><br><strong><em>This position is open to 6-month Contract employment.</em></strong><br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct in-depth interviews and <strong>comprehensive portfolio reviews</strong> of potential <strong>industrial design, interaction, brand, motion, environmental, concept, and video</strong> candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios.</li> <li>Engage passive <strong>design candidates</strong> using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referrals, SOBO campaigns, and specialized <strong>design communities, platforms, and industry events</strong>.</li> <li>Partner closely with <strong>Design Leadership</strong> to understand team needs, define role requirements, and craft compelling value propositions specifically for design talent.</li> <li>Drive a diverse talent pipeline into the organization ensuring a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint, from initial outreach to offer acceptance.</li> <li>Represent Anduril's brand and recruiting team internally and externally, articulating our unique design culture and impact.</li> <li>Leverage internal resources and market insights to build strategies around selling our value proposition to top-tier design talent.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5+ years of direct, full-cycle recruiting experience specifically focused on creative roles that include: Industrial design, Interaction, Brand, Motion, Environmental, Concept, and Video.</strong></li> <li>Proven experience conducting thorough portfolio reviews and assessing design capabilities (e.g., interaction design, visual design, user research methodologies, industrial design processes) against technical, creative, and cultural requirements.</li> <li>Deep understanding of the design landscape, including current trends, tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software), methodologies, and talent pools across various design specializations.</li> <li>Experience managing strategic stakeholder relationships, particularly with <strong>Design Leaders and Hiring Managers</strong>, driving strategic recruiting efforts based on business needs, profile calibration, and providing transparent pipeline progress via reporting.</li> <li>Experience acting in a consultative manner, where your guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and candidate expectations has led to improved outcomes and a positive candidate experience within the design space.</li> <li>Clear and effective communication with design candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and cultural fit within a fast-paced, high-impact organization.</li> <li>Experience managing various funnels of design candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process using an ATS.</li> <li>Highly autonomous but highly collaborative, thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>In house brand team, design or advertising agency experience.</li> <li>Experience recruiting for senior to leadership-level design roles within a complex product or hardware-software environment.</li> <li>A strong network within the design community and familiarity with specific design portfolio platforms (e.g., Behance, Dribbble, Medium, personal websites).</li> <li>Multiple years of experience working at an agency or fast-paced startup environment, particularly one with a strong product or engineering culture.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Hourly Range </div><div class="pay-range"><span>$50</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$65 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
