The MCP endpoint at https://talentgiants.com/api/mcp requires no authentication and serves only public data. Each tool call is logged to an append-only mcp_tool_calls table containing: tool name, truncated arguments (500-char cap), result count, duration, error flag, client hint (first 64 chars of User-Agent), and timestamp. IP addresses and user identifiers are not logged.
Accounts are managed via Clerk. Stored fields: Clerk user ID, email, display name, account type, verification status, and timestamps.
Stored: job ID, user ID or anonymous session ID, application status, optional notes, and timestamps.
TalentGiants uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregate usage analytics and an internal analytics endpoint for page-view tracking.
We keep personal data only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for.
Account data. While your account is active, we retain the account information described above (Clerk-managed fields: user ID, email, display name, account type, verification status). If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal identifiers within 30 days.
Application and hiring-intelligence data. Job application records and your saved-job tracker history are retained in identifiable form while your account is active. When an account is deleted, we anonymize this data rather than delete it outright — stage-transition history is kept in anonymized, aggregate form to power our hiring-trend analytics. This anonymized data can no longer be linked back to you.
MCP server logs. Tool calls made through our MCP server are logged without any personal identifiers — no IP addresses, no user accounts, no session data. We retain these anonymous logs for 12 months for reliability and abuse monitoring, then delete them.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate site usage analytics, governed by Google's standard retention settings.
Public company and job data. Job listings, company profiles, and leaderboard data are not personal data about you and are retained as long as they remain relevant to the platform.
