Furthermore the Director of Sales shapes the Storyblok sales concept for this target market and scales revenue to the next level. Responsible for leading the AMER Enterprise Account Executive team and scaling that up. Oversees business development and sales activities into existing and new markets and helps the team in forecasting and negotiating complex deals. Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the North American market</li> <li>Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Account Executives.</li> <li>Shape and refine Storyblok's sales concept for the North American target market</li> <li>Oversee sales activities in existing and new markets within AMER</li> <li>Guide the team in forecasting and negotiating complex deals</li> <li>Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop action plans to capitalize on them</li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners</li> <li>Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives</li> <li>Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management</li> <li>Continuously optimize sales processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness</li> <li>Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics</li> <li>Develop accurate sales forecasts and projections for the AMER region</li> <li>Participate in cross-functional initiatives (eg. Marketing, Partners, EMEA and Global BDR, EMEA and Global AE) to align sales strategies with overall business goals</li> <li>Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement</li> <li>Prepare and present regular sales reports and insights to senior management</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred</li> <li>10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role such as Sales Manager or Director of Sales</li> <li>Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the North American market</li> <li>Strong understanding of B2B enter
