Senior Data Analyst – Revenue & Metrics

<h4><strong>About the Job:</strong></h4> <p data-renderer-start-pos="6723" data-local-id="710549b6b17f">LaunchDarkly is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data &amp; Analytics team, focused on revenue analytics, metrics definition, and governance.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="6850" data-local-id="784f005655cc">In this role, you will <strong data-renderer-mark="true">own the definition, calculation, and governance of key revenue metrics</strong> such as ARR, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">NRR</span>, and customer metrics. You will partner closely with Finance, RevOps, and Data Engineering teams to ensure consistent definitions, accurate calculations, and scalable data models that support company-wide reporting.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="7178" data-local-id="cb4d95be440b">This role is critical to establishing a single source of truth for revenue metrics and enabling consistent decision-making across the organization. <strong data-renderer-mark="true">You will be responsible for how revenue metrics are defined, calculated, and trusted across the company — not just reported.</strong></p> <h4>Responsibilities:</h4> <p data-renderer-start-pos="7486" data-local-id="a3c226227b49"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Metrics Definition &amp; Ownership</strong><br>Define, document, and maintain key revenue metrics (e.g., ARR, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">NRR</span>, churn, bookings). Drive alignment across Finance, RevOps, and Data teams on metric definitions and usage.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="7693" data-local-id="e83782f45cb9"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">ARR Calculation &amp; Logic Development</strong><br>Design and maintain ARR calculation logic, including handling edge cases (e.g., expansions, contractions, multi-year deals, renewals, credits). Ensure logic is transparent, scalable, and well-documented.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="7935" data-local-id="4dc1a30d5724"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Data Modeling &amp; Automation</strong><br>Translate business logic into scalable data models and transformations using modern data tools (e.g., Snowflake, dbt). Partner with Data Engineering to productionize and automate reporting workflows.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="8164" data-local-id="6a876eecc4b9"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Cross-functional Alignment</strong><br>Work closely with Finance, RevOps, and <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text">GTM</span> stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, align on definitions, and support reporting needs.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="8326" data-local-id="236cfce0dd75"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Data Quality &amp; Reconciliation</strong><br>Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across systems (e.g., Salesforce, billing systems, data warehouse).
