Staff Software Engineer - Fullstack

And we're only getting started.</p> <p>As a <strong>Staff Software Engineer</strong>, you will build customer facing workflows, work with your platform team and product management to have self-serve onboarding of product teams. We are looking for engineers that are customer obsessed, who can take on the full scope of the product and user experience beyond the technical implementation. You'll set the foundation for how we build robust, scalable and delightful products.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Impact you will have</p> <ul> <li>Build Simple workflows to cover multiple user journeys in Databricks Control Plane</li> <li>Build a Self Serve and modular UI flows to help various product teams in databricks to build standard customer user journeys.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams, including product management, backend engineers, to deliver high-quality software.</li> <li>Participate in the planning and execution of complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.</li> <li>Create, deploy, test, and upgrade complex data pipelines with powerful features to visualize data graphs.</li> <li>Provide a great SQL-centric data exploration and dashboarding experience on Databricks</li> <li>Work in an interactive environment for collaborative data projects at massive scale with an easy path to production.</li> <li>Mentor / groom junior full stack engineers</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What We Look For:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of industry experience</li> <li>Experience leading large multi-quarter efforts with a demonstrated customer or business impact</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch</strong></li> <li>Comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables</li> <li>Motivated by delivering customer value</li> <li>Familiarity with server-side web technologies is a plus</li> <li>Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security and usability</li> <li>Experience building large-scale products</li> <li>Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>About Databricks</strong></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Databricks is the data and AI company.
