Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.</p></div><h4>Facilities Technician</h4> <p>Join our team as an Facilities Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring world class operations, buildout, and maintenance of our satellite manufacturing facility and office space. This position offers the opportunity to work with a tight-knit team using various tools and equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.</p> <p><strong>Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform hands on installation, maintenance, and repairs, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work</li> <li>Respond to emergent requests to limit facility and equipment downtime</li> <li>Assemble, arrange, and move furniture and equipment as needed for new area buildouts or moves</li> <li>Open, track and resolve electronic work tickets for requests and projects</li> <li>Work with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services</li> <li>Follow and enforce safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe and secure work environment</li> <li>Document and maintain various tools, hardware, and equipment in order to limit downtime</li> <li>Provide operational and logistics support for our spacecraft and technology development programs as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years working in a facility technician, construction trade, or similar technical hands-on role</li> <li>Proficiency with common hand and power tools</li> <li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed</li> <li>Ability to safely utilize ladders of various heights to complete tasks and projects</li> <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs and comfortable with being on your feet for extended periods</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior working experience in a hardware manufacturing and testing facility</li> <li>Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical systems</li> <li>Experience programming and operating digital Building Management Systems (BMS)</li> <li>Aerial Work Platform certification or experience</li> <li>Familiarity with Google tools, JIRA, and Confluence</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><div><strong>What we offer:&nbsp;</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Base pay is just one component of Astranis’s total rewards package.
