Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.</p></div><h4><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assembly, Integration, and Test Technician</span></h4> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As an Assembly Integration and Test Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing satellite components, subassemblies, and fully integrated vehicles. The role requires both electrical and mechanical integration work to assemble the spacecraft as well as assisting with pneumatic and electrical testing.</span></p> <h4><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Role</strong></span></h4> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assemble and test spacecraft and ground support equipment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assemble and integrate the spacecraft using engineering models and procedures. Assemblies include: structural parts and mechanisms, RF waveguides, antenna, electronic boxes, harnesses, coax cables, thermal blankets</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain paperwork - work instructions, connector mate logs, test logs</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Set up, adjust, and calibrate standard test equipment to conduct functional and environmental testing using test procedures</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform spacecraft lifting and handling operations</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform spacecraft testing of communications, telemetry and command, thermal, power, and propulsion subsystems per the applicable procedure</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Operate subassembly and spacecraft pressure test consoles</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with Production engineers to develop and document build procedures</span></li> </ul> <h4><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span></h4> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2+ years of fundamental experience in assembly, manufacturing or maintenance</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to interpret technical drawings, test plans, and work to procedures</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to perform spacecraft integration tasks in clean room environment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to operate cranes, man lifts, tugs &amp; handling equipment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience working with general hand tools and torque wrenches</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiar with windows style PC operating systems</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication and teamwork skills</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Climbing ladders, long durations of standing, grasping, sitting, pulling, and physical bending movements</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Willing and able to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as required</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Willing and able to travel to support off-site launch site processing and environmental testing</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Don't meet them all?
