This role is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing, managing various transactional accounting activities, diligently supporting the month-end close process, and assisting with other critical accounting tasks as needed.<br><br></p> <h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3> <p>The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative small team environment, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and is eager to contribute significantly to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.<br><br></p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <h4><strong>Customer Invoicing & Accounts Receivable:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Generate, review, and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner, ensuring all billing information, pricing, and terms align with contracts, sales orders, and service agreements</li> <li>Verify service/product delivery details with sales and operations teams to ensure correct billing</li> <li>Process credit memos, adjustments, and refunds efficiently and accurately</li> <li>Maintain organized billing records and supporting documentation for audit readiness</li> <li>Respond promptly and professionally to customer billing inquiries, resolving discrepancies and issues with a customer-centric approach</li> <li>Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collection efforts as needed, collaborating with the team to identify overdue accounts</li> <li>Process and reconcile customer payments (cash application)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Transactional Accounting Support:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely payment</li> <li>Prepare and post various journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation in the general ledger</li> <li>Assist with daily and monthly bank reconciliations</li> <li>Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are accurate, complete, and properly classified</li> <li>Reconcile various balance sheet accounts (e.g., prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities) on a monthly basis</li> </ul> <p><strong>Month-End Close Assistance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Diligently support the monthly financial close process by preparing and reviewing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for all assigned accounts</li> <li>Ensure all transactional activities are recorded accurately and on time to facilitate accurate financial reporting</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements and reports as directed by the Accounting Manager/Controller</li> </ul> <p><strong>General & Team Support:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient accounting operations</li> <li>Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects, data gathering, and reporting as required</li> <li>Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls within the Accounting Department</li> <li>Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information</li> <li>Assist with external audit requests by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field</li> <li>CPA preferred, but not required</li> <li>1-3 years’ experience in accounting under US GAAP. Public accounting/audit experience preferred</li> <li>Highly detail oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP</li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$77,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$102,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
