The Quality team works with our internal teams, customers and suppliers to ensure the deployment of reliable products that meet all mission requirements. The Quality Inspector will support the Manufacturing/Production teams, and be responsible for learning and executing detailed inspection processes necessary to ensure a quality product in a timely manner. Some of the daily duties will include inspecting incoming materials, equipment, and products to ensure quality specifications are met. Additionally, you'll investigate/ troubleshoot product and production issues, raise non-conformance tickets for triage, support product traceability, take corrective action as well as implement standards/ specifications/ processes cross-functionally with Quality Teams.<br><br><br><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work in a modern manufacturing environment on incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection.</li> <li>Support Material review board processes.</li> <li>Propose, develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures and review with the product quality and manufacturing engineers</li> <li>Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy.</li> <li>Support the calibration process of test equipment, jigs and fixtures. Coordinate calibration</li> <li>Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Scanning, torque, multimeters etc.)</li> <li>Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, MBD drawings)</li> <li>Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge, understanding dimension and tolerancing</li> <li>Experience with inspection of CNC machined parts, fabricated weldments and mechanical assemblies</li> <li>Experience with inspection of Electrical and Electronic Components (PCBs, wire-harnesses)</li> <li>Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001 or similar QMS standard</li> <li>Experience with communicating in cross functional teams and with suppliers as needed</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Technical or Associates degree in related quality/ mechanical/ aerospace engineering field</li> <li>IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 Certification</li> <li>Experience with Manufacturing processes and their related systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD)</li> <li>Experience with auditing processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment</li> <li>Detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight - strong ability to communicate with different cross functional teams.</li> <li>Knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements and processes</li> <li>Knowledge of with Maritime vessel requirements</li> <li>Experience with validation and testing assemblies and their components</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
