As our team expands, we are seeking a mission operations engineer to focus on the challenges of development projects in a fast-paced and ever-changing threat landscape.<br><br>As a Mission Operations Engineer supporting Maneuver Dominance, you will plan and coordinate all flight-related activities across a diverse fleet of aircraft, including manned and unmanned assets. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of test events, demonstrations, and operational deployments through expert logistics planning, resource management, and hands-on operational support. The right candidate is a resourceful problem solver who thrives with limited resources and adapts quickly to dynamic operational environments.<br><br><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support flight operations for aircraft, including operations planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to support development and customer facing activities.</li> <li>Serve as Site Lead for flight test events, demonstrations, and operational deployments, coordinating personnel, aircraft, equipment, and logistics across multiple test locations.</li> <li>Develop comprehensive logistics plans for demonstrations, deployments, operations, and maintenance of systems across varied military and test environments.</li> <li>Coordinate with test engineers, pilots, program teams, and military partners to align logistics processes with test schedules, mission planning, and resource allocation.</li> <li>Manage demonstration and test inventory, equipment readiness, and site logistics to ensure continuous operational readiness.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate logistical considerations into product design, development, and sustainment planning. Contribute to proposal development for new contracts, focusing on logistics and sustainment aspects.</li> <li>Analyze and improve logistics and operations processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and scale operations across expanding programs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in military and civilian airlift logistics, with a strong background in both ground and air support operations.</li> <li>Proven experience in developing and implementing logistics strategies for complex military systems in line with Department of Defense (DoD) logistics processes, regulations, and standards.</li> <li>Experience with logistics software and inventory management systems.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize complex logistics networks.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Proficiency with emerging technologies in defense and their logistical implications.</li> <li>Able to travel up to 50% of the time.</li> <li>Ability to obtain up to a Top Secret clearance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.</li> <li>Experience with C5, C-17, C-130 and civilian equivalent logistics planning, cargo handling, large-scale deployments of equipment, and supply flow.</li> <li>Proficiency with autonomous systems or unmanned aerial vehicles .</li> <li>Certification in logistics or supply chain management.</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies and rapid prototyping environments.</li> <li>Exposure to international logistics and foreign military sales.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$113,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$141,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
